Share your story
We accept all stories, even if you know only an anecdote or a small detail about an immigrant’s life. No story is too fragmented or incomplete. Share your story with us!
There are several ways, in which you can share your story:
Write your own narrative. All submitted narratives will be edited to meet the editing standards of Lives Uncharted. The story’s original author (the contributor) must review and approve of all the final edits prior to publication.
Share all you know with us, and we will write a narrative based on the information you will provide. You may send us your notes or sit down with us for an oral history interview if you would rather tell us your story in person.
Share historical documents with us and we will piece a story together based on the information included in the records. Those may be letters, memoirs, diaries, immigration documents, photos, random paper scraps, etc.
If you know only some vague details of a story or an anecdote or a small but meaningful detail from a woman’s life, we want to hear it all. No story is too short or too fragmented. Every story matters.
